This table is simply stunning and so architectural. It was designed circa 1960 by Henning Norgaard for Komfort. This one is rosewood and the look and the feel of the wood is so sublime. The glass top seems to float when in actuality it is sturdily perched atop the base with 4 pegs slipping into 4 small holes in the glass. Even though the size of this table is designated as the coffee or cocktail table we have been using it in our shop as, and it works perfect as, a larger sized end table giving plenty of room for a wonderful mid-century lamp. Although missing its original foil paper tag there is no denying this table is an original by Henning Norgaard for Komfort. We even have a copy of the original sales receipt from Authentic Scandinavian Design in Evanston, Illinois dated December 5, 1970. This table is in wonderful vintage condition. The glass has no chips but there are small scratches as you would expect with age and use. This one should be yours.
