This 19th century Korean screen is a magnificent piece of art! Comprised of 12 panels of meticulously hand painted silk scenes of Korean life that I am sure tells a story or legend. I only wish I knew what! The colors are brilliant and haven’t faded over the years. The blues are particularly stunning. It stands ?? inches high and when stretched to its fullest is ?? inches long. When folded slightly to stand on its own it is ?? inches. This amazing screen is in wonderful antique condition; however, not without small imperfections as you would expect with age and handling. It has small scratches here and there, some tiny spots where the silk edging has become detached, and some discoloring of the unpainted bottom panels. We have tried to photograph examples of these. None of the imperfections detract from its overall beauty. Hang it on a wall as art or use it standing as a screen, however you use it, it will be breathtaking!!
