Compass by Drexel Five Drawer Campaign Tall Chest of Drawers Vintage Mid Century

This is an incredible piece of furniture by Drexel who has been known for making excellent quality furniture for decades. This tall chest of drawers from their Compass Collection is no exception. It is comprised of two shallow drawers which are adorned with beautiful brass pulls and a petal shaped escutcheon above three deep drawers with recessed handles; all are encased by a tall rectangular chest with brass campaign style corner plates. The wood is warm and wonderful with a gorgeous grain. I can see this chest of drawers in a young boy’s bedroom and have it continue with him into manhood.
