These side chairs are a phenomenal example of iconic mid-century modern design. This pair have royal blue fiberglass shells over a black steel wire base and retain their original paper Knoll Associates label as well as their paper April 29, 1963 production date label. They are in very good vintage condition. Harry Bertoia’s wire furniture collection was introduced by Knoll in 1952 and has been in continuous production since. It is recognized worldwide as one of the great achievements of 20th century furniture design. This molded shell fiberglass version 427 was produced for a brief time in the 1960s making it more rare than other models. I know you want these. Make them yours.

Handsome pair of Knoll Associates hard shell fiberglass side chairs by Harry Bertoia. These two are royal blue with a black wire base and retain their original tags. They are over-all in wonderful vintage condition. The shells are what we would consider in excellent condition and the bases are as well apart from some finish chips on the bottoms which have been repaired. Circa April 1963.
