Description
Quite the pair of iconic Danish designed and manufactured mid-century modern chairs! Model 3107 from the Series 7 designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. The series was designed in 1955 and debuted in Sweden at the Helsingborg exhibition. It is comprised of teak plywood which is uniquely shaped for the human body. It narrows in the middle thereby allowing the plywood to have three different bends. This chair is sometimes called the butterfly chair due to this unusual shape. The one piece back and seat are perched on chromed steel tube legs that’s shape allows them to stack for convenience. Beautiful. Comfortable. Unique. Sturdy. You should make this pair yours.
