Beautiful example of Chinese cloisonné enamel on this antique opium smoking set. In a gorgeous Chinese red enamel over its brass structure. Made in the very unusual shape of a parallelogram and having four compartments. One compartment holds the burner, one holds six small round dishes. And, two are empty for storage and lidded. The knobs on each lid is a wonderful sculpture of a foo dog. The box is supported by four brass bass feet and has lovely cloisonné handles on either end. This is an exceptional piece for display and would make a wonderful desk accessory for paper clips or odds and ends. Beautiful and unusual. You need to make it yours.
