We are loving this 1960s Hickory Manufacturing Company canopy bed here at the shop! It is just wonderful. It has simple lines and fabulous materials. The combination of its warm wood frame and posts, the caned headboard and footboard, and the brass accents is stunning. It had a fabric canopy on its canopy frame when we obtained it, but it was a bit too used and we like the simplicity of the bed without the fabric better as well. Except for the label and markings on the back lower rail you could float this bed out in the middle of a room and if you used a bed skirt those wouldn’t show either. Its straight lines are mid-century modern but with its brass accents has a feel of campaign style as well. And although it is full-size and a canopy bed it does not visually take up a lot of space. We know you love it. Make it yours.

Handsome vintage mid-century modern four poster canopy full sized bed by Hickory Manufacturing Company. In wonderful vintage condition. Not without nicks, dings, and spots of missing finish on the wood but nothing outstanding, age inappropriate, or that would keep it from being used as is. The caning is in excellent condition. Some patina to brass accents but you have to look very closely to see them. Circa 1960s.
