Bold, bright, and beautiful!!! This gorgeous round abstract acrylic painting was created circa 1970s-1980s by listed artist Ted R. Lownik. It is unusually mounted on a round piece of smoke gray plexiglass which acts as its framing. It makes a stunning impression wherever it is hung. I did not find much history on Mr. Lownik but did find a video gallery talk of Ted’s where he explains his wish with his art is to bring beauty into the world after having served in Viet Nam and seeing and experiencing the ugly side of human nature.
