This beautiful pink and wonderfully luminous and opalescent clam shell is a feast for the eyes! It retains its original sticker stating Genuine Venetian Glass made in Murano for Decora Import New York City. And therein lies a puzzle……my research and my previous experience tells me that gorgeous clamshells like this one were made by Cenedese; however, that same research tells me that Decora Import only imported glass made by AVeM aka Arte Vetraria Muranese. Regardless, this lovely sea shell shaped jewel is mid-century and marvelous. Made to be able to be displayed upright or tipped on its side and in fabulous vintage condition. This nice little treasure should be in your collection.
