Description
We live in Topeka, Kansas and these came from a Santa Fe Railroad (you know “on the Atchison, Topeka, and the Santa Fe”!) auction many years ago, and resided around our dining room table until we moved from our house to live in our loft apartment above our vintage furniture store! They have been through children and grandchildren; nieces and nephews; teenagers and babies; and with their stainless steel frames and “bullet proof” frieze fabric have many many years left! They have great industrial era design and are in good condition. There is one chair with a crinkle in the stainless leg; and one rung from the “shelf” that sits below the seat is missing (but it’s been that way since we’ve had them); and, the foam is crispy. Which has also been that way since we have had them; however, I believe the original fabric could be carefully removed, new foam added, and the fabric replaced. That is, if you want to keep the original fabric. I hate to see them go; but, it is time for them to make memories with a new family. Are you ready to make new memories with them?
