This is an outstanding set of dining chairs. Rather modern but with a nod to Mid-Century with an Asian influence. They are comprised of straight legs with an overhanging Ming style seat and Chinese style carving between the legs on the bottom of the seats. The legs are joined by H shaped cross stretchers and the seats have a black and greige stripe upholstered semi-attached cushion. The backs have an Asian styled slightly raised center top rail and seven gently curving spindles which are attached to a lower cross bar. We are not sure of the wood species, but it has a dark walnut toned finish and the overall effect is stunning. Their look is very versatile and will blend with and enhance many interior design styles from Asian to Mid-Century to Traditional. You just need to make them yours.
