OMG! Dorothy C. Thorpe is glamour at its finest! And, here is a fabulous set of ten roly poly cocktail glasses attributed to Dorothy C. Thorpe circa 1960’s. Definitely pure mid-century modern! Ms. Thorpe, like her contemporaries George Briard and Fred Press, designed but did not manufacture her stunning creations. Her wonderful designs were created using sandblasting, silver overlay and paint speckle on simple blank glassware from U.S. and European manufacturers. Every chic Mid-Century Modern home had something by Dorothy Thorpe, in particular, a set of silver banded roly poly tumblers. Now this icon of Mid-Century Modern chic can be yours.
