Description

Gorgeous! The best word that describes this pair of vintage mid-century modern vases made in France by Vannes Le Chatel. Both are beautiful clear lead crystal and both are in wonderful condition. The smaller of the two (vase #1-scalloped edge vase) still has its paper and ribbon sticker label and both have their etched signature on the bottom.

Vannes Le Chatel was founded in 1765 and was one of the most important producers of glass in France from 1900-1950. In 1963 they began producing lead crystal decorative glass with the height of their production during 1960-1970, the age of these two pieces.

We have found no chips, cracks or chiggers or outstanding flaws. Priced individually, you may buy one or both.
