If you are looking for beautiful storage……this is it! This Edwardian style chest of drawers is absolutely gorgeous with tons of storage space. Of course, it will be perfect for clothes storage in your bedroom; but you could also use it in a living room or dining room as was commonly done with this type of chest. It is comprised of a pine cabinet with burl veneer on the front only. There is a separate and removable top and base with the turned legs plus a total of six drawers that are all full width. The top drawer is a secret, hidden, or facia drawer and much shallower than the rest. The five remaining drawers seem to graduate slightly in size from smallest on top to deepest on bottom. Each of these drawers have two round wooden knobs with mother of pearl inlay in the middle. They are also each fitted with a skeleton key lock. Unfortunately, only one of the locks retains its mother of pearl inlay. We do have a pair of keys. The front column-like sides have applied acanthus leaves carvings. The overall look is stunning.
