Beautiful solid teak set of 8 vintage dining chairs in the style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. These chairs, although deemed Art Nouveau by being in the style of Mackintosh, go beautifully with Arts and Crafts and Asian pieces. This comes as no surprise since Mackintosh was influenced greatly by Japanese art or Japonism and Frank Lloyd Wright was his contemporary in design. This set of eight chairs were custom-made during the 1980s in Thailand for the original owner. They are in great vintage condition but do have some nicks and dings and cracks which to me only enhance their beauty and uniqueness.
