Comprised of absolutely positively gorgeous Murano…Venetian…Italian latticino glass in white which was hand blown and caged in gold painted wire cages. In case you aren’t familiar with caged glass, it is glass that has been blown into a wire cage and is allowed to bubble outside of the wire constraints. So, the shape of the cage is fundamental to the shape of the glass. It can be done with clear or colored glass, but this pair of beautiful fixtures has been made using Venetian latticino glass, which is what its name sounds like, two colors of glass, this being white and clear, formed into a lattice crosshatch design. Many of the famed Murano glass artists used latticino to its most beautiful advantage and these lights have done so as well. You need to make them yours!
