This king size headboard is Hollywood Regency at its finest! Produced in the 1960s by Kessler Industries Inc. of El Paso, Texas. The tag line on their brochure says “Kessler…superb craftsmanship in cast aluminum furniture”. How true this is. It is comprised of a gilded cast aluminum frame with a central arch that steps down to its urn shaped finialed outer corners. Very architectural in feel the frame has an egg and dart design on its outer edge, a modified rope molding on its inner edge, and vining fruit in between. Inside the framework it is upholstered in the classic button tuck tufting of a gorgeous sunshine yellow velvet with a velvet contrasting welt of navy blue. Simply outstanding!! This bed will be incredible in a purely ornate décor or in juxtaposition mixed with your mid-century modern pieces. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it and know you have too. Make it yours!
