This is an incredible credenza! I’m not sure what style to call it. It is mid-century but not mid-century modern. It’s not totally traditional but could go in a traditional décor. It’s not fully Hollywood Regency nor Campaign style but certainly would fit right in. And quite frankly I can visualize it in an industrial loft or a mountain country home. Maybe we will just dub it transitional. Two of its special features are its shallow depth and the fact that its back is finished so it can float in a room. It is comprised of solid walnut and walnut veneer. Its front is made up of 2 sets of double panel doors. The solid walnut frames of those doors, which have been restored, have a slight arch in the center top and the inside panel is diamond pattern lattice. Each end panel of the cabinet has this same panel. The back and top are walnut veneer with some distressing that is very attractive in our opinion. There is some color variation to the woods which is deliberate and distinctive. The overall look is fabulous! You could use this certainly in an entry, but it would be perfect as a low room divider in a long great room or as an awesome piece for below your TV. Just make it yours!!!
