Wow! I cannot get over the beauty and detail in these fabulous Arts and Crafts andirons. They are made of cast iron in the shape of a gorgeous pair of pine trees and they wear their original finish and awesome age patina. They are marked Martin Pat Appld For and were produced by Martin Industries which, at the time these were made, was called Martin Stove and Range Company. They were founded in 1905 just after the turn of the 20th century as King Stove and Range Company by two brothers, W. H. Martin Sr. and Charles Martin, in Sheffield, Alabama. The company also made cast hollowware, iron skillets, and “sad” irons. Whether you have a mountain home or a country ranch house you will love these andirons. Make them yours!
