Description
Just look at this incredible piece of furniture!!! It has been in my collection for probably around 30 years and is difficult to let go…but time for someone else to enjoy its beauty rather than be hidden away in my stash room! This is a true piece of vintage design history. Originally, we are sure, from a beauty shop or barber shop and can be called by many design styles: Art Deco, Streamline Modern, Machine Age, Art Moderne, International Style, or maybe Bauhaus. You choose. It is comprised of a tubular chromed steel frame, a two-drawer maple cabinet with chrome edged black plastic (Fabrikoid, Bakelite, Catalin?) top, and a chrome framed round attached mirror. One of the drawers has an oval window with a red cross insignia and “Sterilizer” decal. Both drawers have a round chrome knob with concentric circle design. This is the perfect little make up vanity for your master bedroom or, if you are lucky enough to have one, your dressing room. No matter your design style this beautiful piece of American furniture design will fit right in. You need to make it yours!
