This Italian beauty is comprised of gilded wrought iron, twisted draped iron cords with tassels, and an expanded metal bowed seat for your bottom. The gilding has definite signs of age and wear, but time and use have just made it more beautiful. When we obtained this awesome curule or Savonarola piece, it was missing a tassel, so our skilled craftsman created a new one and it looks wonderful. It would be fabulous to use while sitting at a vanity or in your bedroom at the foot of the bed. The bowed seat and sturdy X base give you a comfortable sitting experience with or without a pillow. This gem has been part of my mom’s private collection for as long as I can remember but she has decided to share it with someone that will love it as much as she has…you should make it yours!
