Beautiful set of 8 Italian Postmodern dining chairs attributed to Pietro Costantini. This set includes two armchairs and six side chairs comprised of a black lacquered frame with a tripod style base. Two wide straight front legs, wide back slat that is also the back rest, and a circle seat with the original black leather upholstery. Wonderful vintage condition. Each chair has been taken apart and completely stabilized. There are very small nicks or dings in various places, but we feel they are so minor and did not want to disturb the painted finish that we left them alone. One chair has been repaired and refinished due to an attempt at some point to touch up a nick. Please see photos. Circa, Late 20^th Century.

Now THAT’S ITALIAN!!!!! Wow!! Feast your eyes on this magnificent Italian set of dining chairs attributed to Pietro Costantini! We are most certain about this attribution, although they are missing their labels, as they came to us along with a signed Pietro Costantini dining table and buffet. These were most likely imported and offered by Ello although they do not have the Ello tag attached either. This Postmodern set consists of eight fabulous black lacquered tripod style chairs, two armchairs and six side chairs. Each circle shaped seat wears its original black leather upholstery and rises on lifters upon the tripod base. The seat back, which is also the third leg of the tripod base, has an ergonomic curve that adds comfort and there is a subtle block design on the front of the seat back. The same concept applies with the two armchairs. The front legs extend above the circle seat and curve outward creating arms. Simple and stunning! Do yourself a favor and upgrade your dining experience with this prestigious dining set. Make it yours!
