Fabulous mid-century modern sofa table or console table comprised of a bow shape chrome frame and 3 bowed glass shelves. Done in the style of James David or Design Institute of America aka DIA. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use. We did find some missing chrome on one of the legs you can barely see the difference. Also, there is a small chip in one shelf. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa 1960-1970’s.

Designed in the manner of James David or DIA, this wonderful mid-century modern sofa console table has a distinct appearance… starting with four vertical square chrome tubes that are placed in a manner that creates a slender “square” in the center of the sofa table. That “square” is attached to a chrome rectangle frame which goes against the wall, and five curved glass shelves slide through the center square and attach to the rectangle and pull this beauty together. It has a smooth, sleek bowed or curved design which will fit in nicely with any style home. Obviously, it would be perfect behind your sofa holding books and smaller 2D works of art, but you could also put it in your sitting or living room to display precious photos, sculptures, your mid-century modern pottery, or glass collection. Or adorn it with a pair of awesome lamps. It would also be wonderful under a large mirror or piece of artwork. Possibilities are truly endless. We love this fabulous chrome sofa or console table… surely you must too, you need to make it yours!!
