Both the love seat and the lounge chair have matching spindle backs and a cerused reeded rattan inset angled design on the sides. If you’re unfamiliar with the term cerused, it’s much like white washing and it allows the natural shade of the rattan to come through from beneath the finish and gives it an antique hue. It’s just stunning!! And the cushions are wearing what we believe is their original fabric with button detail and it is in excellent condition. However, we have priced this pair with the assumption that most may want to re-upholster. They are organic modern and a little art deco in style and will blend in beautifully in any room that needs a little bit of “Crespian Style” ambience. And although we wouldn’t put these directly outside, can’t you just see this set on your covered porch, Floridian lanai, or in your sunroom for a comfy spot to relax?
