Here is a set of four petite antique Regency chinoiserie chairs in distressed black that are of great delicacy. This set of lovely old chairs still have their original horse hair stuffing with the exception of one. Their black painted finish has its own wonderful patina…..I just love this distressed finish! And, it looks as though this set has gone through two fabrics in their time. I wish they all still had the beautiful original blue Chinoiserie fabric on them. One rung is missing from the chair with no upholstery. These are obviously in need of restoration; but, once restored will be an awesome set of chairs. They would work nicely around a game table in a living room, around a breakfast table, just as extra seating scattered about; or, don’t restore them and use them as photography props.
