What do we have here… a credenza? Yes! A buffet? Well, yes! A cabinet? Also… YES!! This is an absolutely fabulous hand carved credenza, buffet, or cabinet from Bangkok, Thailand comprised of gorgeous Rosewood featuring two large front doors with solid bronze dragon handles and intricately hand carved sides and door fronts embellished with birds, flowers, and little squirrels among the vines. It is STUNNING!! There is a single shelf behind the left door and open space in the center. The right door hides three drawers exhibiting bronze drop handles with Asian designs and brass locks for which we have had keys made. Carved meander and other details, much like the door fronts and ends of cabinet, surround the base, and it stands upon wonderful claw feet. The back of the credenza has a clean, lovely finish and could float beautifully in a room if you wish. (pssssst the previous owner told us this was custom made for his parents while living in Bangkok!) Its quintessential Chinoiserie style is going to make a BOLD statement in any room whether the dining area, living room, family room, or study.
