It is comprised of lovely teak veneer, mitered edges, and the inside is as nicely finished as the outside. We added black felt pads on the bottom, but they can be easily moved or re-moved so you can position the table as you desire. Turn it on its side and use for storage or a display unit, turn it upright and put your albums inside, or get a piece of glass, turn it to your desired position, and use it as a base for a fabulous side or end table. Not that it needs glass to be used as a table… but the options are endless!! It would be a marvelous way to hold your album collection, books and magazines, or toys in the family room. It is bursting with Mid-Century Modern to Scandinavian Modern magnificence and exploding with versatility!
