Fabulous Mid-20th Century Scandinavian Modern low stool comprised of a teak frame with a natural paper cord woven top. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There is a bleach spot or stain on the paper cord top. The stool is sturdy. Description

We have a stool that is SURE to make you DROOL!!! LOL… This is a marvelous vintage Scandinavian Modern low stool comprised of a teak frame with round straight tapered legs bearing round stretchers which are tapered on both ends surrounding the stool on all four sides. The seat features a GORGEOUS natural paper cord top woven into V shapes with touching tips in the center and curves outward above the stretcher on both sides. Some say this stool is attributed to Jorgen Baekmark for FDB and Peter Hvidt for Orla Molgaard-Nielsen but the seat is a bit different so we cannot confirm that. But no matter, it is INCREDIBLE!! The classic simple lines it bears gives it the ability to blend in beautifully with many styles of décor while bringing a splash of Scandinavian Modern flair to the room. It would be wonderful at a vanity, in a dressing room, or at the end of your lounge chair for a soft place to prop your feet. You know you love it, you know to want it, and you ABSOLUTELY NEED it!!! Just do it, make it yours!!!!
