Fantastically Flat, and Absolutely FABULOUS!!! This is a wonderful vintage glazed pottery flattened style vase we believe was studio created by an incredible artist (whose signature we can’t seem to make out for the life of us!) with a slab technique. It is very professional and well-made. The vessel opening on the front of the vase drops down slightly and it bears stunning colors of a very dark blue body and an eye-catching stripe with kind-of abstract triangles in colors of terracotta, blue, and green lined with narrow copper lines down the center of the front and back of the vase. There is a silicone glaze on the bottom for non-slip purposes, but it definitely does NOT hold water! The opening is obviously very narrow, but you could certainly add single stems, bamboo stalks, or slender faux flowers to the vessel but we think it looks incredible unfilled! This vintage beauty is sure to be a lovely addition to your pottery collection or just as fabulous, displayed solo on a shelf or in a table-scape. It would be beautiful on a mantle, a desk, on a coffee, an accent table… just about anywhere in any room! It’s quite simply a marvelous piece of Modern to Postmodern magnificence and it needs to be YOURS!!!
