Sunshine yellow and awesome!! Here is a vintage 1950’s Blendo Glass juice set or cocktail set with a pitcher and six glasses. This set is definitely from the West Virginia Speciality Glass Company’s Blendo line of glassware and NOT the Blenko Glass Company. There is a lot of confusion between the two due to the similarity in names but nevertheless, both companies have highly collectible glassware. The factory made Blendo collection was produced by the West Virginia Specialty Glass Company in the 1950’s and 1960’s and has no pontils but smooth bottoms. It came in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Ranging from pastels to bolds and brights and from pitchers and bowls to various sizes, shapes and types of drinking glasses and bowls. The color frosting starts at the base and gradually fades away at the top to clear glass with accents of gold. This vintage Blendo glass pitcher and glasses set is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks and the gold accent is all in place. Obviously it was never used or always hand washed. Hand washing is recommended.
