Handsome Mid-20th Century Danish or Scandinavian Modern style walnut stained wood armchair frames, a pair.  Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, they have been given new seat strapping but do not currently have cushions however, we can provide if needed for an additional cost see NOTE below. Description

Double your Pleasure with this Delightful Danish Duo!!! This is an incredible pair of Danish or Scandinavian Modern style walnut stained wood armchair frames with a flair likely inspired by iconic designer Hans Wegner. He designed a gorgeous GE 240 or “cigar” chair with a very similar structure, but his design has four back spindles where ours has three. They are comprised of lovely walnut toned wood frames with curved armrests, a low, leaned back seat with new seat strapping, and a fabulous square back featuring a triple straight spindle detail. They are going to be marvelous in your sitting room with an accent table between, in a corner of your bedroom, across from the sofa in your living room, or facing the fireplace in the den or study. They are ergonomically pleasing, versatile, and obviously bursting with a quintessential Scandinavian Modern style you are sure to enjoy for years to come. You know you love them so why would you hesitate? Make them YOURS!!
