OH, LA LA!!!! This vintage cut Venetian Glass mirror is MAGNIFIQUE!!!!! My goodness, it’s quite breath-taking!!! The mirror is comprised of the finest cut Venetian Murano glass and sculpted in a unique shield-like shape bearing magnificent engraved flowers, stems, and petal motifs on the outer edges & peaks and almond shaped details surround the center of the mirror. It has a beautiful wood back with a hanging wire for easy wall mounting and the center mirror has natural ageing to the surface and a bit of the silver has come off but we think it simply adds to the incredible character of the piece. Many Kings & Queens of the 16th & 17th Centuries bought and displayed mirrors much like this beauty in their palaces… and why shouldn’t you treat yourself as Royalty?? Fun fact… Venetian glass and Murano glass are the same thing. Murano is simply an island in Venice, Italy where Venetian glass is made. Murano is considered art glass and is often used by artists & is well-known for its quality & craftsmanship. But the terms are interchangeable. Just a little FYI for ya!! It will be exquisite almost anywhere, but, because of its beautiful aged center it’s best artistically displayed in an entry way, on the wall in a dining area, or any wall that could use a little dimension. You could certainly change out that center mirror if you wanted to use it in a bathroom or vanity area but we love the natural aged patina so much we just couldn’t bear to do that modification. It is a phenomenal piece sure to leave you breathless! “If you’re waiting for your next love, look in the mirror.” -Bridgett Devoue. Don’t wait any longer… Make it YOURS!!!!!
