Although some of you may not be familiar with Vargas Fine Furniture, as a former Topeka, Kansas resident I am here to tell you that they only sold the BEST of the BEST of the BEST furnishings with elite designers on staff and could order to the trade. Their inventory consisted of only VERY high end, quality merchandise until they closed their doors in the 1990’s. This sofa is indicative of their products featuring classic coil springs and marvelous green Naugahyde faux leather fabric trimmed with lovely antiqued brass nail head details on the wonderful rolled arm fronts and back sides. It stands beautifully upon three dark walnut stained round decorative front feet and two dark walnut stained narrow but wide square back feet. It has a tight back and three loose square seat cushions we believe to be foam filled. This sofa would be the perfect seating in an office, home library, or flanking the fireplace in the study. And although it is Traditional in style, we think it will blend in beautifully among many other décor styles. It’s gorgeous, green, and oh-so-comfy in between!!
