What an AWESOME CUBE… DUDE!!!! LOL… This is a FABULOUS vintage 1980’s Modern cube end table comprised of an off-white laminate exterior bearing a handsome grid design, a wonderful, recessed base, and a sultry black painted plywood interior surface in the style of the Less is More II Collection by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. WOW!!! The Less is More II Collection line surfaced in 1982 with Baughman’s philosophy of quality over quantity. He was quoted in a Knight-Ridder newspaper article stating, “I think a room should have fewer pieces of furniture but better-quality furniture.” You are correct, Mr. Baughman, size does matter!! And the quality of this line is unparalleled!! And although this cube shaped end table doesn’t have a tag, it came from a home with other pieces retaining their original tags by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin Less is More II Collection… so we highly suspicion it is as well… but cannot authenticate that suspicion. It’s marvelous none the less. And have we mentioned its versatility… SO many options!!! In its former home it was used as an end table next to a sofa, but it would function nicely as a bedside table, a wonderful stand to display plants, host a vase, sculpture, lovely table lamp, or as a side table next to a chair in your sitting room. MANY, MANY conveniences and Modern magnificence accompany this marvelous cube table. What are you waiting for? You simply MUST make it YOURS!!!
