Description
We are in love with this very unusual Victorian wishbone chair with its hand carved details and gorgeous upholstery. Comprised of a wood frame that has been blackened or ebonized. The frame surrounds the upholstery and has arms the same height as the back. The back corners are square, and the wishbone face and arms are hand carved with lion’s heads at the top of the u shape. It all stands on lion’s paw and claw feet. The recent upholstery is a gaberdine like fabric with a black background and ethnic tribal design with warriors, tigers, and monkeys in red and green and gold. This is one of those chairs that will look fabulous wherever you use it and with whatever style décor you have. I can imagine it being the focal point or in juxtaposition in any design whether industrial, mid century modern, modern country, rustic, southwestern, or traditional. You must make it yours.
