Late 20th Century Abstract Mixed Media Monumental 3D Diptych Painted & Torn Paper Petals Wall Art

What an Absolutely Alluring piece of Abstract Art!!!!! This is a marvelous 3D or three-dimensional diptych piece of mixed media torn paper artwork composed of exquisite colors including blue, purple, pink, off-white, and hints of light yellow painted upon abstract torn paper petals or feathers with ripped edges arranged in a radial pattern & beautifully encased inside a fabulous clear plexiglass shadow box. And… with measurements of 61.5 inches long, 47.5 inches tall, and 3.75 inches deep… it is MONUMENTAL to say the least!! Unfortunately, this masterpiece bears no signature however, it did come from a home with other similar art pieces that ARE signed… also listed here for sale… but, no matter, other than we wish we could give credit where phenomenal credit is due!! For those that may not be familiar with the term diptych, it simply means “a work of art composed of two panels or sections that are intended to be viewed as a single piece.” This gorgeous piece is just that… 2 paper mixed media images placed side by side with abstract illustrations that although separate, come together to conceive this masterful and complex creation. So… what is it? Some may see a fantastic flower, maybe a Zinnia… deep, enticing colors draw your eyes into its ovule as it explodes into a striking, erupting bloom… layered petals radiate from the center as their delicate tips softly tickle the wind and the sweet smell of its perfume glides gently past your nose.
