Irving Chase Manufacturing was a furniture company based in Huntingburg, Indiana operating from 1935 through 1950’s. They specialized in producing exclusive furnishings primarily used as photography props. They featured many Mid-Century Modern style pieces such as chairs, chaise lounges, which were noted for their fun shapes, eye-catching colors, and unique design elements. Irving Chase’s daughter, Evangeline Chase Parker was the first woman president of the “Professional Photographers of America” and helped popularize the furniture pieces. No specific mention through research of the exact date the company closed, but likely mid 1950’s. Today Irving Chase Manufacturing pieces are highly sought after and still serve as popular photo props or unique vintage furnishings.

Call it a chaise lounge… Call it a posing or bridal bench… You can even call it a photography prop from its past life! And you would be right… BUT, whatever you decide to call this incredible vintage piece by Irving Chase Manufacturing… You should MOST DEFINATELY decide to call it YOURS!!!!
