Description
I love these! They full of style and sass. Plus, extremely versatile. This set of four Campaign style folding director’s chairs are circa 1960s and marked made in Japan. They are, however, done in the style of renowned architect and designer Gae Aluenti’s April 2120 chair which was produced by Zanotta in Italy. Ms. Aluenti designed her chair in 1964. There are a few differences. And one I believe makes these chairs a little more attractive. That difference is the addition of the plastic armrests. Another interesting addition is a stabilizing leg with a black plastic bell shaped foot. These fabulous folding chairs have a chromed metal tube frame with the sling style seat and back made of black vinyl. And versatile is their middle name! You can use them unfolded in your living room for conversation, or in your breakfast room or sun room around a small dining table; or in your rec room around a game table. Or you can fold them up and store them away for stylish extra seating when needed. Just apply your imagination. Make this set yours!
