This server is small-scale and just right at the same time. Made in the style of the great Salem Cabinetmakers but circa 1930s-1950s. Note the wonderful shaped top over the outset legs which are reeded, turned, and adorned with fine foliate carved tops. These legs flank two full width drawers which are adorned with beading and brass drop handles. I can see this piece being used as a bathroom vanity with a pretty vessel sink.
Classic Sheraton Federal Style Mahogany Server in the manor of Salem Cabinetmakers
Original price was: $1,295.$775Current price is: $775.
Beautiful small vintage mahogany server in a classic Federal or Sheraton style. Reminiscent of the style of the Salem Cabinetmakers. Good original condition with nicks and dings as you would expect with age and use. Plus, there is a small veneer patch on the top drawer’s left corner which is missing. Although I like the age patina, some may want to refinish. Circa 1930s-1950s.
