This chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen with input by Danish M.D., Egill Snorrason, on how to improve the lumbar support. This collaboration came after Snorrason criticized the lumbar support of Jacobsen’s previous Ant Chair and Series 7 Chair. In addition to the improved lumbar support the top of the back has a wider width which supports the shoulders nicely and creates its nickname of T Chair or Hammer Chair. They were produced by Fritz Hansen. And this signed set of four is dated 1976. They will be the perfect set for your breakfast room or around your game table. Handsome and iconic set of four model 3103 chairs by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Sometimes called the hammer chair or the T chair. This set is in amazing original vintage condition with normal wear and no outstanding flaws. Their teak is beautiful, and the chrome legs are awesome. Circa 1976.
