Description

If you don’t love this piece for its looks you will have to love it for its function. It was made as a part of the Lane Acclaim line of furniture which was introduced in 1959 and designed by Andre Bus. Comprised of the standard walnut and fruitwood used for this line and with the attention to design and craftmanship. The cabinet, which offers ample storage space inside its hexagon shape and is adorned with the signature dovetail design on each of its two doors, is perched atop a hexagon recessed base and supports a round top with the expected softened edges, pie shaped inlay and dovetail feature. It is in wonderful condition and ready for you to enjoy.

Not much is known about Andre Bus, but he designed one of the best known and sought after mid century modern furniture lines around. It was a favorite of the mid-century masses and is a favorite again with collectors due in part to its clever blending of modern, classic, and Danish design.

You will have dozens of places to use this beautiful example of mid century modern American furniture. Make it yours.
