ABOUT
This is a very handsome Knoll coffee table designed by Lewis Butler. Consisting of an inlaid white laminate top on a walnut Parsons style frame with Butler’s signature wooden joint which he employed for visual interest and to avoid the use of excess hardware. The top is comprised of two side by side planks of white laminate applied to a back beveled particle and hard board sub-straight. It retains its original Knoll Associates label with the 320 Park Ave. address. Therefore, dating it to between 1961 and 1969. This is a gorgeous table and significant piece of mid-century modern furniture. It is sure to find a place in your collection.
