Holy Moly I love this chair! Attributed to the famed high style furniture design and production team of Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin this vintage chair is classic and currently relevant at the same time. Constructed of square tubular chromed steel with an x-base director chair style frame with an upholstered back, arms, and semi attached cushion seat. The chrome is in excellent condition, but the fabric has seen better days, yet I somehow kind of love its well-worn look. We leave the reupholstery to you, so you can choose just the right fabric for your home.
Milo Baughman was a pioneer in modern design and from 1953 to 2003 collaborated with Thayer Coggin to create furniture that has come to define the mid-century modern era of American residential furniture. This chair will blend beautifully with many design styles. Not only mid-century modern but Hollywood Regency, industrial, modern, contemporary country and even in a wonderful mix of eclectic traditional. You need to make this chair yours.
Handsome lounge chair attributed to Milo Baughman and Thayer Coggin in the style of a Director chair with a chrome x-base. This chair is in good vintage condition. The chrome is in excellent condition, but the fabric is worn and faded so will need recovering. Circa 1960s-1980s
