Wow! These rosewood cabinet style end tables are absolutely incredible! These were designed by the original owner in 1966 and created for him by an artisan. They are comprised of gorgeous vertical grain rosewood on all four sides with double opening doors on the front of a square cabinet which floats above the floor on a recessed black painted pedestal base. The rosewood horizontal grained top is so beautiful but does have some slight darkening in spots from age or use. Black painted metal hasp bar closure on the doors and the black hinges are the only ornamentation. Leaving the rosewood as the star. When I first saw these substantial end tables, they were flanking a Milo Baughman Lawson style sofa. What an impression. Their large scale but simple lines and breathtaking material make these just what the designer ordered. You must make them yours.
