If you are looking for an over-the-top centerpiece or monumental piece of sculpture, look no further. This gorgeous pair of wading birds will be the center of attention no matter where you use them. Comprised of wire that has been covered in burlap then encrusted with sand and shells and mounted on a wood base. Perhaps made for a department store display or a stage performance prop, they have now become a marvelous object d’art. Don’t be fooled by the photos, this pair stand an impressive 27 and 31 inches high. We’ve been calling them cranes, but; through research and because of their down-curved bills and long legs, I’ve come to believe they are ibis or curlew. Whatever they are, they need a new home. You should make them yours.
