“A Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules!” Well, we think this extraordinary antique gold end table definitely makes all of the RULES!!! This is an exquisite vintage Hollywood Regency style beautifully gilded iron end, side, or accent table with a square glass top. The base is solid, sturdy, and comprised of eight wide, flat iron slats that have been bent, curled, welded, and designed to create a vision of golden loveliness. The top and bottom section were welded together at the curls and four vertical twisted iron bars connect the top of the arms and feet of the base. It is wonderful!! The center design is composed of the lower ends of the wide iron slats which curl into what resembles a four-leaf clover (to me anyway,) it has a fresh coat of gorgeous gold paint which was antiqued and is topped with a marvelous ½” thick piece of glass. It simply SCREAMS Hollywood Regency fabulous-ness, but it would blend in beautifully with other décor styles such as Mid-Century Modern, Minimalist, Postmodern, Maximalist, or Industrial to name a few. Can’t you just imagine it in your living room next to a lounge chair, in the family room hosting a lovely table lamp, or between a pair of chairs topped with a fabulous sculpture? We certainly can! Call it an end table, call it a side table, or call it an accent table BUT whatever you choose to call this phenomenal golden treasure… you simply MUST call it YOURS!!!
