ABI01 Resonance Fruit Bowl by Alice Abi for Alessi

This fruit bowl is simply gorgeous! It was designed by Alice Abi for Alessi in 2006. Comprised of 18/10 mirror polished stainless-steel which was cut flat and then bent and welded to achieve its final shape. Reminding us somewhat of a pinwheel with its grace and fluid form. Alice Abi was born in Sydney, Australia and acquired both undergraduate and postgraduate qualification in fine art. She practices a range of media from painting, photography and sculpture to sound and object design. Abi has stated she believes the fundamentals of geometry, mathematics and color are a universal language and we can see that in this fruit bowl.
