ABOUT
Here for you is an absolutely beautiful antique hand painted hunt style buffet server with cabriole legs. It’s early American styling is similar to pieces done by Wallace Nutting however this is not marked. Dating from 1915, as you can see by the black and white photo of it when it was new and in the breakfast room at 1225 W. Market in Akron, Ohio, this is an incredibly made vintage buffet. The delicate Chinoiserie hand painted design is spectacular and the elegant cabriole legs ending with a ball foot detail make this piece totally awesome. This cabinet would be fabulous in a dining room or breakfast room as a buffet or server; but, do equally as well in an entry hall, living room and maybe even in a bedroom. Or, I can see it converted into a bathroom vanity. We do have other matching pieces listed here on our website if you are interested in additional pieces. Please note the final two photos are vintage photos of this set. The black and white one is when it was new in its original breakfast room and the other with the turquoise wall is in the dining room of another family member in the 1950’s. In incredible original condition for a 100-year-old piece! Some small nicks and marks which only give it a wonderful age patina.
