Description
This incredible petit china cabinet is perfect for today’s living in our smaller spaces. But, although small in stature, it is huge in style and presence. Its upper portion is made for display and consists of two by-pass sliding glass doors, two glass shelves and a mirrored back. The lower half is comprised of two drawers, which divides the upper and lower portion, and a set of double opening doors which open to ample storage. The Architectural Modern Collection was produced by Morris of California roughly from 1948 to 1955. Through online research I’ve gleaned that Morris of California was incorporated by Edward Morris and his brother in 1924 after having first operated in London before WWI and California since 1915. The company was liquidated in 1989. Over the years many have suspected that these pieces were designed by Phyllis Morris but that is not the case. This beautiful display cabinet is in wonderful original condition. You should make this unique piece of mid-century modern furniture yours!
