Wow! Just wow! I’ve never seen another set like this. We had to have them. Now they can be yours. This set of two fabulous mid-century campaign style swivel chairs and matching low side table was produced by Hickory Furniture Manufacturing. Although we did find a set when researching that stated they were designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, this set is clearly marked Hickory Furniture Manufacturing. The chair is a barrel or horseshoe shape with a caned back and loose seat cushion which sits atop, and swivels on, an interesting and unusual hexagon base. The finish is butternut as stated underneath and each of the six legs is banded with brass. The accompanying low hexagon side table is identical to the bases of the chairs but is topped by white laminate. I might consider putting a little pad on this table to serve as a tuffet or foot stool! How will you use them after you make them yours?

Handsome and unusual pair of campaign style swivel chairs with a cane back and loose seat cushion on a hexagon base. They are combined with a low hex table with white laminate top. All are by Hickory Furniture Manufacturing. They are in wonderful vintage condition. There is a small repaired spot in the caning of one chair. The wood does have signs of age but nothing outstanding. The vintage velvet has been cleaned and is usable, but you will most likely want to recover unless you like the aged velvet look. They are priced accordingly. Please see photos. Circa mid-20th century.
